Seat mounting plates
Aside from the obvious answer of welded, how are the seat mounting plates attached to the floor pan ?, is it just a few welds up each edge to hold them onto the floor ?. I can't see any pictures of where the welds should be.

The seat plate was factory attached to the underside of the floor by several spot welds

Thanks for that, wondered if they were done that way. I may just plug or spot them on from the top, easier to weld that way.
Just have to clean all of the dinitrol off underneath and give it a coat of weld through primer.
One of those jobs I have been meaning to do for ages as none of them are attached to the car.
