Re: charles ware morris minors
Never had any problems with Charlie Ware's crew myself. I tend to favour Bull Motif - who've done rather well off me this year! - but have bought great parts and had great service from CW. In fact, in the summer I needed some new brake parts urgently and it was late in the day. I can't recall the ch...

Great video. Nicely done. Lovely shots of some lovely places in my old stomping ground.

Re: Rear leg space. 2dr vs 4dr vs Traveller
It has an odd effect on your perception of the space in a Minor when you clamber into a two door or four door. I always feel like a four door is somehow smaller as a result of the extra doors. Very odd! :o Funny how we think of the Minor as being a bit weak in a crash though. Wasn't there a woman in...

Re: How many miles have you driven.
I suppose I averaged about 18 - 25k miles a year over the last 20 years.
Way, way less than that in a Minor.
However, these days I fly a round trip of about 6k miles four times a year back and forth work .....glad I don't have to drive it!

Righto limegreen.
In the meantime, my Dad will be out and about in it trekking back and forth places to get the odd job done on the 'box etc.
Give him a wave if you see him
I'm back for Xmas so will be making a few chilly trips out and about and just enjoying the car.

A ten speed Raleigh racing bike, tasty! I think it was around then my Father got hold of an A-reg Sierra as our family motor....part-ex'd a W-reg Ital....(shudders at the memory of that piece of.....!!! :o ) Actually I remember he'd traded in a '70s Vauxhall Victor he'd had for yonks for the Ital an...

Re: The only car I ever really wanted....
Not only would it suffer in the 110 degree heat, it would also suffer in the appalling traffic. There are just two speeds here, 100mph and STOP.
Sadly no winding country lanes to drive down just multi lane highways. No fun in driving a Moggy out here.

Cheers
Credit is due to Kevin the bodywork man who made it look so good whilst I was out here working.
Thankfully, apart from the 'box, it's mechanically tip top after my years of tinkering while it slumbered.

Re: any fellow scouters on the forum?
Yes, indeed. Was involved since a baby, taken on my first camp aged 8months old - my Father was involved for nigh on 50 years from the age of ten and was a CSL, SL and GSL so it's in the blood! I went through Cubs, Scouts, Ventures, oops, sorry, Venture Scouts  and was then ASL, SL and VSLeade...

The only car I ever really wanted....
Hullo Folks As a newly re-activated forum member (I've briefly dipped in and out under various guises over the past few years or so :-? ) I thought it a good time to post some pics and a random collection of words relating to Morris Minors and my particular Morry Thou. Bear with me..... I've been a ...
