Re: Cheshire police car on ebay
The Cheshire Constabulary used Morris Minor 2 door saloons prior to about 1965. They were black and fitted with an illuminated box Police sign on the roof (there was no stop sign) They were not fitted with radio, except two used on remote detached beats. Main use was as general purpose/supervision c...

Re: rear wing connecting bracket
Found it at last.
It is attached to the rear inner wing and is used to attach the rear left and right trim panels and armrest with self tapping screws. Not being structural or loadbearing it will be easy enough to fabricate.
Many thanks for all your help chaps.
Boris

Unfortunately this looks similar (except that it is a half circle and the part I need is a quarter circle) but is not the part.
It is used to repair the body where it joins the rear outer wing and corrosion has occurred on the body itself.
many thanks for trying for me.

Re: rear wing connecting bracket
Greetings, Many thanks for your contributions. As the bracket is not only a segment of a circle it is also a right angle in cross section, each arm being about 2cm it would be virtually impossible to make in the average workshop. very much a presses steel component. The search goes on !! Peter Marsden

rear wing connecting bracket
I am restoring a 1962 2 door saloon. There is a section which is in the shape of 1/4 of a circle and attaches at the top near the boot bulkhead and runs down to the cill. It is right angle in cross section each arm being about 2cm. It appears to be part of the attachment of the rear inner wing. I am...
