Re: Paint query
The thinners in celly should melt and blend into the paint you spray it on so 1500 is fine. Just make sure it is dry and grease/oil free before hand.

Re: Ginger bush
Can I take advantage of the horticulturists on here to enquire as to what is the best position for a Ginger Bush. I thought an open position on a bed would be satisfying but as they are usually found in the shade I'm not so sure it would be the best position for it, might make it a bit too dry as I ...

Re: Help the Bees
I leave a corner of my garden as nature intended for the benefit of all creatures. The thrushes go in there to find snails and keeps me amused for a while watching them bash it about to get the resident out of the shell. No shortage of bees here either.

Break is spelt B-R-A-K-E, unless you mean you have broken it
Glad you seem to have it sorted now though, nothing worse than not knowing if you are going to stop OK

Re: Quarter light Moss mirrors
It may be obvious but don't forget when fitting the wing mirrors to the doors the right hand wing mirror should go on the left door and left wing mirror on right door, it should be obvious though as the alignment would be all wrong.

Re: Weller rims - hubcap problem!
That's a good point Phil, but if you are buying a wheel for a Morris Minor you would expect a Morris Minor hub cap to fit I would have thought

Re: Dying at the lights
Glad you have said the fuel pump is a mechanical one on the side of the block. In the past there has been a problem with engine heat transferring to the pump and causing vapour lock and you could get a spacer to place between them to alleviate it. I don't know if this is your problem but it fits the...

Are these wheels made for Morris Minor or are they generic so might have to accommodate differing hub caps?
