Interesting, sounds like a good diff for a very uprated Minor!

I do indeed have the 1275 Marina engine, Metro HIF44 carb & DMG 1.5" exhaust so I am hunting around for a 3.9 diff in good working order but at a sensible price!

I asked these folk to tell me the ratio of the diff. They spun it & replied that it's 3.5 - 1....can this be correct? Well now, "mu04ngo" is a member on the other forum (MMO) & has a set of Weller rims that he never used....guess what...hubcaps don't fit his rims either!

He & I are going to email Alan Lowe, the Weller MD.

I had to read that 3 times before I got it!

I've just removed 4 x Nanking 155/80R14 from my Traveller as I have fitted wider wheels. They seem to be really good tyres for relatively little money, around £50 - £55 each inc. fitting. I had confidence in all weathers with them & they have loads of tread left after several thousand miles. Andy.
