That said I am considering a flip front has anyone done one with an idiot proof mounting kit yet?

THis is just what has happened, in stead of taking the wing off and welding in a repair panel they have welded a pannel into the arch and over the rear area of the wing. Now the door has dropped and obviously the area uder this bodge is totally shot. PS could a mod please change the title of the thr...

Got chance to do some more on Bluey today While my whife made short work of the front off side wing (which we know know is fibreglass) I got all the bolts out of the near side but ......no movement on the near side! some *********** has welded the wing on as well as bolted...next step will be cuttin...

Just to add, I am 6ft 8" tall and 22 stones and find then DAMB uncomfortable

at what age were seatbelt a legal requirement on cars? My 70's moggy has them in but I would love to get rid of them in the restoration

The interior came out of my little mog to reveal what eas hidden. Bit of a mixed bag, the drivers side is not too bad but the passenger side is shot.....along with the boot floor and the sides of the boot (inner arches) hey ho, I knew it was not going to be nice! My old wreck has a code painted on the air filter (cant remember what it is off the top of my head) An ex army guy took one look and said its a military code, does anyone know if this is a tell tale??
