Sunday - M6 Southbound at Tebay Services and later came zooming past us on the motorway - dark blue 'F' suffix saloon, had the Newton Commercial seats fitted in leather, very, very tidy car.

1967 Triumph Vitesse Mk1 saloon - 6 cylinder straight 6, 2.0l, twin carbs (all standard). Had a single transverse leaf spring for rear suspension and would handle 'interestingly' on a wet surface. That was 1982 - been through loads of cars since......

Oh the Land Rover - when it is not leaking then it must have ran out of oil? Saves changing the engine oil though - just keep topping up and change the filter now and then, my old Ser 2A used to leak everything - everywhere. The used oil burners used to be very popular with garages, fleet owners etc...
