electric ignition to coil
Hi All Could someone help me please i have just put a new wiring harness and electric ignition on my 1956 split screen positive earth.i have a black wire and a white wire coming off my electric ignition and from my harness one white wire and one black and white wire. how do they go together on my coil

Hi all
i am fitting a new wiring loom to my 1956 morris minor two door split screen and am not sure about the wires that go into the fuse box then into my two 35 amp fuses could someone please send me a photo and a wiring diagram please Thankyou

To test the circuit simply disconnect the two connections on the switch, connect them together and the lights should light up, this will prove if it is a switch problem or a circuit problem. Hi Trickydicky i have also problems with one brake light on me splitscreen the o/s works and the n/s is inop...

Hi am trying to remove my ball joints but when i turn the nut the bolt turns as well i have put pressure from the top and the bottom of the joint but still everything turns could you please help

Thanks for the quick reply philthehill the head is off and the push rod is well bent and the valve is stuck there is nothing wrong with the pistons and there is nothing wrong with the copper gasket and i cant see any water on top of the pistons if that is what you mean. the pistons still move i woul...

Thanks for the comments lads we tried the joint both ways but could find no difference we had a cut down centre post between the glass and fitted it whole,the bottom went in no problem but sides and top just sprung out all the time so its back to the drawing board

Hi Rob The guy who came to help me was an ex windscreen fitter and has done a few before he used the same tools as you and still couldn't get it to fit in the top and sides of the body work the seal kept on springing off,the new glass was the same size and thickness as the old glass .who did you buy...

well i had 3 attempts at fitting the splitscreen and still no luck so i ended up asking for help from the north east classic car club and a guy called paddy came to help me so we fitted the splitscreen only to find out it was the seal that was at fault the grooves in the seal are not deep enough to ...

Trafficators all sorted i took out the drivers side glove box and sorted out all the wiring out thanks very much for your help ,but still cant put photos on here its all changed
