Re: Plain or coloured bonnet handle?
Note: Humbrol paint appears discontinued. The equivalent Revell paint code is 731. Hobby colour H90. The conversion chart can be found here http://www.modelshop.sk/UserData/files ... mbrol.pdf I did actually buy the Revell version and tried it first, but it was an opaque pinky red and I soon wiped ...

Re: Plain or coloured bonnet handle?
I read this post with interest as I have just worked on my bonnet handle on my 1960 saloon. I understand that the original would have had the enamelled 'medallions' fitted, but the one I have is the later one-piece fitting with just a plain chrome background. The Midget ones are not dissimilar to the original seats but have the benefit of headrests. Can anyone rec...

Re: Fitting tyres
This is what I use: https://www.blackcircles.com/catalogue/bridgestone/b381/145/80/R14/T/76/f?tyre=11327354 Thanks. I have seen Bridgestones listed on a few other sites but nothing came up on Black Circles when I looked. While I would have preferred the Pirellis, I cannot justify paying an extra £4...

I tried Black Circle but they do not list any tyres for a Morris Minor.

Fitting tyres
My car has been off-road SORN for the last 12+ years and is now being refettled to go back into use. All the tyres are 15+ years old and need replacing. ESM and Longstone sell new Pirellis but having asked around my local tyre fitters, I have been quoted between £20 and £25 per wheel to fit them. Ha...
