Wiring for Testing Wiper Motors

Hi All, I have 3 wiper motors that I would like to check and see if they work. Unfortunately I don't have a wiring diagram. Obviously the earth goes to the tag on the body of the motor but what about the other 2 terminals? Attaching a good battery to each terminal in turn has no affect (on all 3 mot...

Thread Size on Pick-up Spring Mount

Hi All,

I'm about to re-fit the rear suspension to the Pick-up chassis.
I need to clean up the threads on the spring mounting pins (the pins welded to the sides of the chassis).

Does anyone know what size thread these are?

Any help much appreciated.

Ta!

Re: Pickup restoration part three

David,
The bundle of wires there;- white/red, brown/blue and the double white all go to the back of the ignition switch.
The white/red is the starter wire, trace it back to the starter solenoid!

2-Door and 4-Door Hand-brake in same place?

Hi All, A slightly strange question for a sunday morning. :D Is the hand-brake lever in a 2 door saloon the same distance away from the front of the car as in a 4 door saloon? My thinking is that the doors are longer on a 2 door so assuming the front seats have more leg-room the hand-brake might be ...

National Rally - Hands Up, Who is Going?

Hi All,

For the first time ever, I will be going to the National on saturday AND sunday.

So, usual question, who else is going?

Have a safe journey everyone.

See you there!

Re: Custom Minor Insurance Co. Recommendations

I've just gone with RH Specialist Insurance. They use the same insurance company as before but are at least a third cheaper......  The multi car policy means I will save 3/4 the cost on my convertible when that comes up for renewal PLUS I no longer need the RAC cover either........ Doing Away with the Gutters????????

Hi All,

Has anyone done away (or not replaced!) the rain gutters above the front doors?

Mine had rusted away so I took the remains off ready to buy some more.

Is it crucial to put them back on?
I could just weld the edge up and leave it like that.

Thoughts please.

Cheers

Custom Minor Insurance Co. Recommendations

Hi All, My V8 Pick-up is almost done :D so I'm looking at insuring it along with the V8 convertible. My current insurer won't give me a 2 car custom policy and want to charge me full price for EACH car!!! I can't drive both at once now can I................... New Fuse Boxes - Any Good?

Hi All, Just going through the electrics on the Pick-up after a 6 year rebuild. I'm glad to say no real issues, but one thing has become obvious. Under load the fuse connections at the fuse-box are breaking down. Looks like the terminals are dry and lightly corroded. A change of fuses helped but the...

Re: So is this a Morris colour?

Hi again,

I've just done some paint touch-up on the Pick-up using spray cans from ESM. The finish was ok but a top-coat of lacquer (Halfords) really made it shine.

Good luck!

Might be wrong, but that colour looks very similar to my Pick-up and that is Teal Blue.[frame]Image[/frame]
