I can scan the relevant pages or post a photocopy for free if Derby MMOC office or other UK MMOC source cannot do so.
Alfie, you can email me at the French club address:

Hope that helps !

Re: highway code
There has been a lot of rubbish, call it fake news if you prefer, circulating around Morris Minor groups online concerning the recent changes to the UK Highway Code, and the legal status of the Code. According to the Introduction to the Highway Code on the UK government's website https://www.gov.uk/...

Re: What was going on there?
Apologies, I have just spotted an omission in my reply to Les about how much MMOC subs. bring in to the Club. It should have read : "Members of the MMOC can view the latest accounts (year ended 31st December 2020 ) online in the Members Area of the Club website, subscription income is at page 1...

Re: What was going on there?
Could we not have a " Tap Room " section , for the broad-minded adults , I used to enjoy somewhere to joke , spit , drink beer , play darts and dominoes without having to examine everything I said before I said it ? John ;-) This is primarily a Morris Minor messageboard, isn't it? I run a...

Re: Driving Technique
I guess it depends on the combination of Engine, G/box and Diff, but yes, my minor happily pulls away in 2nd, which saves me changing 1st to 2nd within a couple of car lengths.... Agree, but with the caveat that it depends on your driving habits/skills and the situation you are in when you pull awa...

Well thank you for showing up, nice to hear from you!
Maybe you'll show us a pic of your good looks (or those of your Moggie if you prefer?)

Re: Messageboard management
At the most basic level, I would simply like to know who all the moderators are on this board, and to be reassured that they are all paid-up MMOC members.

Geoberni, I looked under 'The Team' which seemed logical to me Capture d’écran 2021-11-24 à 18.42.31.png Following your comment, for which I thank you, I have now looked under 'Rank' where I see more people listed as 'Moderators', some of whom, according to Les, have left the Messageboard planet. Pe...

Re: Messageboard management
Some interesting comments here. Simmitic has replied to my OP, Admin has not but then he is very well known anyway so probably you will all have heard of him. Can anyone tell us about Cam, the third person listed as a moderator? According to the Board as it comes up on my screen he was last active i...

Re: Messageboard management
That's nice, Simmitic., thank you.
I did not mean to ask you and the others to reveal personal info., but I do think it is important for the rest of us to see your Minor and MMOC connections.
Otherwise how can we have confidence in you?

Messageboard management
In view of recent discussions about MMOC membership and the locking of posts, may I suggest that Admin and each and every moderator takes a few minutes to give a brief description of who they are, what minors they have and what role they play here and in the MMOC generally? This isn't meant to be a ...

Re: club subscription renewal due, do I or don't I?
I just want to see a way of justifying the £32 annually dues for the last few years , surely I'm not the only one that thinks this way [according to the private messages I've had apparently not]. I agree with you, but were those who messaged you MMOC members and if so did they bother to attend the ...

Re: club subscription renewal due, do I or don't I?
Yep. There is a lot of free stuff online whatever your interest, Minors or flower arranging or whatever, but not all of it is good value. Joining a recognised club or group and contributing helps everybody. The MMOC has given me a lot over the years, most of it good and I hope that the time I spent ...

Re: club subscription renewal due, do I or don't I?
Our decision time on MMOC membership falls in January.
This time we get to choose between £40 pa which includes a printed & posted Minor Matters, or a reduced rate of £35 if we opt for an on-line version only. (Plus £2.50 per family member as in the UK)
Hmmmmmm......

Simmitic, may I be so cheeky as to add a caveat to your post relating to the fact that overseas members cannot benefit from the majority of the members Benefits you mention?
