Yes new brake pipes were fitted as well. But that shouldn't stop the handbrake should it?

I have had the drum off and there is no sign of oil and the shoes look okay. The cylinders and shoes were all overhauled last year.

Off side rear brake problem

My car failed the MOT as the rear offside brake was hardly registering anything on the brake test. The foot barke was 10 and the handbrake zero. I had the same problem last year and replaced the adjuster and it then seemed okay. Has anyone any ideas what the problem could be. The cylinder was new la...

Parcel Shelf - help

I removed the parcel shelf at the statrt of the restoration and its now the last piece to fit. however I can't remember what clips/fixing it uses. Can any one help

also any tips to how to fit it as it doesn't seem to fit very well round the sterring column, is it necessary to trim?

Heater not working

Having rebuilt the car and installed a 1275cc engine and plumbed in the heater it now isn't giving out any heat. Is there a correct way of connecting or could an airlock be the problem? If the latter any ideas how to get rid of it? Also the temp gauge is going up but not reading normal as it used to...

Glovebox Lid

Can anyone offer dvice as to how to keep the glovebox lid from falling open when travelling. (1966 Saloon)

I have cleaned the plate on the lid and fitted a better magnet but it still falls?

any one got any mods?

Just completing this conversion - you will need patience, welding skills and more patience - is it worth it - not in Feb but when the sun is shining I'm sure it will seem worthwhile!

Well the restoration is coming on a pace but I've hit a few snags with the 1275cc engine that I havefiited from an Ital. Its all mated up to the gearbox but connecting up I've hit a few problems. The car has a heated manifold - I plan to by pass this - will this be a problem The carb is a 1.75"...
