That Mini has been untaxed since 1994 that's why you haven't seen it for years.

Has the number been transferred and the car still survives? Pity if its gone in the past 12 years.
Or does someone around here know different??

Just seen what I believe to be the same green Traveller in Midsomer Murders (2009 episode aired tonight on ITV3, entitled The Dogleg Murders). Reg.no. 486UXR as carried (correctly according to DVLA) by a maroon Traveller that appeared in Partners in Crime a couple of years ago, but cheesegrater grille and after-market white front indicators fitted directly beneath the headlamps, as per NTR260, the car in the Marple episode mentioned above. Some very dark coloured joints in the ash frame....

Must be spring-time in Kidderminster. The old and the unusual slowly coming out of hibernation to be spotted! Today's offering, seen leaving Tescos car park was a maroon (Carmine Red?) Allegro estate with wide wheels! Didn't get a reg.no. but narrow chrome bumpers so pre-1979-ish.

Spotted just now in the new episode of Endeavour on ITV1. Clarendon Grey Traveller reg SVR*** (1956/57ish)

Edit: It's SYR658. On DVLA database. 1956 car. Currently taxed and MOTd. SYR = London County Council issued sometime between Sep 56 and Mar 57.

Popped over to B&Q a couple of weeks back and saw this lovely red Corsair. The owner had had it from new. Quite nostalgic as my nan used to have one of these, although the sky blue colour. She got rid of it the week before I bought my traveller.

By the way, the mog is my new run around whilst doing the traveller up.

In the past I've mentioned seeing this convertible around Kidderminster. Never managed to get a picture of it until yesterday, parked in the retail park.

Believe there are two native to that general area. One is a 2-door series MM high-headlamp. The other is a later Series 2 4-door with slatted grille :)

Not today but last week: a lovely green convertible parked up at Reskivers, Tregony and a rather tatty red saloon up a dirt track by a disused granite quarry. Rather odd in that it was a later model but with early rear wings........

Not everyone's cuppa but... Spotted in Morrison's car park in Kidderminster, a 1987 Fiat 126-BiS. Hatchback version so 700cc twin-cylinder water-cooled, made in Poland. Only 800 survivors. Looked like new with 48000 miles on the clock.

Also... a few moments ago and clearly lost, a 1986 Citroen 2CV pick-up turning around at the end of my road.
