What annoys me are these "Celeb tweets", I couldn't care less about what they do or say.....
..worst STILL is I don't know who half of them are....
Keeps the prolls from thinking about REAL issues...works very well.

Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!

That's a good point, especially as in quite a few posts they integral to the problem solving / advice given. Is there any hope of them being restored Cam??Pity about the loss of pictures.

Hi Mike,
Please see my post under 'message board back up and running' for a more detailed explanation, but basically, if you email me and list the exact post I will have them restored.
Unfortunately they can't be done all at once and have to be done individually.
my email is: cam.shaw@mmoc.org.uk or g7tjq@hotmail.com
Thanks,
Cam.

Re: So what do YOU want from the MMOC website?
What I want from the MMOC new website is the ability to view photos without logging in, we could do it on the old site so why not on the "new"?

There was a post with members and their cars on it but I can't seem to find it now, if you do, highlight it to Cam and he may be able to get the images re-instated.
Best wishes,
Mike.

"What I want from the MMOC website" is to view and post articles easily without fuss, spam or problems. Maybe I am asking a bit too much as the new site is certainly no better that the old one.

Seconded, still waiting and looking for an improvement. All the time that the site was down, it kept telling me that I was not a member!

Re: So what do YOU want from the MMOC website?
I thought it was Greek has the site got no security to stop this ??.The site is no better than the old one and does not have anything more .The money the club generates why couldn't they pay for a decent site considering the amount of members that pay .I am on another Minor site and its forum is 100% better and lots more content and features also its FREE

Hopefully the subscription increase will go towards improving things. It's not going too well at the moment.

Re: So what do YOU want from the MMOC website?
Like a number of other members, I would just like is a website that 'WORKS', the old one did, as far as I can could tell, and the new one does not, and is extremely frustrating to use.
I have forwarded examples of pure screen gobbledygook when trying to navigate within and between Messageboard discussions, a message that the 'Object has moved' when submitting a post and often when entering the Messageboard it takes up to 2 minutes to get in, and the whole site just 'hangs', as it did when trying to reply to this question. There seems to be no response or improvement made recently. Maybe the solution is simply to revert to the old website that just appeared to work - why was it changed?
P.S. After clicking 'Submit' for this post it took a full 2 MINUTES for the submission to complete, in the meantime the whole MMOC was frozen.
P.P.S. When trying to edit this post I got the 'gobbledygook' screen 5 times before it would give me the screen to edit:

Re: So what do YOU want from the MMOC website?
That looks like a bad page load and is possibly associated with a slow or intermittent internet connection.
I must say I've never had a problem with the site on a good connection, but I've had similar issues when the connection was bad. Same laptop, so I guess it's not the site.

Re: So what do YOU want from the MMOC website?
Brian,
The connection is BT Infinity, so I don't think it is that. It took 3 attempts to reply to you, 2 x gobbledygook and then the MMOC Messageboard. The MMOC Messageboard gives me many, many more problems than all the rest put together.
