Some repairs
Currently repairing a cheese grater grill I acquired early this week once these repairs are complete the grill will be in really really do condition the slats are straight and not bowed in wards baught as a spare for my 1954 hope you like my work

Nice! Almost a shame to stick the bumper back on.
I found that they must have used an early grille when they made the design up for the 1000 shape. That means you can adapt the bottom of a 1000 grille to repair an early one if you are happy to apply a bit of BFH to it. The 1000 has 3 rows of long slots against the 2 rows on the MM series so you need to do a bit of trimming and bending.
