Not what it used to be?

Is it just me or is this forum getting a bit slow and dull? I'm sure that a year or so ago it used to be buzzing but now there's hardly anything changes from one day to another.
Suppose that the long period when it was down didn't help?

No, it's not just you I have noticed the same. The loss of a well known contributor is a large factor I think especially if you take into account the amount of posts he made. Personally I always looked forward to seeing his posts. The web site on the other side is a good one but if you notice the contributions to it is low. The down time did not help matters I suppose.

I think the Christmas upgrade killed off the forum, photographs disappeared from existing posts, the new format is not user friendly for a smart phone or ipad, it's harder to navigate around the posts.

An upgrade should improve things, not make them worse, yes we miss Roy's posts, it's never the coil!

I have been asking how for ages and been ignored. There is another forum which I look at occasionally (!) and the slagging off has to be read to be believed of the entire process

As i use a few sites and they use different picture posting methods i started using http://puush.me, You down load it and it uploads pictures to your account giving each picture a web address, I find it faster and i can desktop capture and edit before i upload, I am sure there are other ways but this has been the best way for me so far..

but how do you get the avatar / signature picture ?

Its easier to upload to photobucket 1st then copy and paste the URL. For signature go to the user control panel and copy and paste your url to there.
