Hi all. I own a 1968 4 door moggie and i’ve Rebuilt the master cyl, replaced all wheel cylinders and brake shoes adjusted and bled the system when I brake the pedal is firm but then it travels a bit more and a bit more when stopped! Any advice would be welcomed
Thanks
Richard

Re: Brakes
If the pedal continues to travel once the car has stopped it is generally a master cylinder problem.
Replacing the flexible hoses will do no harm though if that hasn't been done already.

Re: Brakes
Seems like fluid is passing the seals in the mater cylinder. Possibly a damaged seal lip at rebuild, master cylinder worn excessively, poor quality seals or even a porous patch on the surface of the cylinder. Needs sorting urgently, before it becomes a catastrophic failure (no brakes at speed!).
While flexibles might well be benefit from a change, if not already done, that will not give these symptoms.!

Re: Brakes
From your fault description above I would advise that the Master cylinder is replaced.
Use a good quality master cylinder though.
