South Wales Area: Caldicot Castle this Sunday.

Post by santadawes »

The Gwent MG Owners Club are holding theie Rally this Sunday at Caldicot Castle. For those of us Morris Minor owners, who are thinking of attending, I am getting there about 9.30ish and will be waiting for a few who said that they are interested in attending. If we go in as one we can all be parked up as one. Anyone interested????
Santa.

Myself and Chris will be there but we'll have to park with the other car club as they applied for us :x

You can be certain though that we will pop over for a chat, there is no escaping us

sadly I couldn't make it - a tad too much wine led to me properly awakening at 12:30, scrambling to find all of my belongings scattered about my friend's house, then needing to pick up my brother from 20 mins away, shower, and take him back 20 mins to my dad's house for stepgrandmother's birthday meal that started at 2 xD
sadly that finished at 4, and by then it was raining and the castle was deserted. pretty annoyed that I'd forgotten about the whole thing, to be honest!

Was a great day overall, even it was a bit damp at the close of the day

Met up with some old faces and met some new. Glad to hear so many words of support from people in regards to the young owner's registry 8)

Hi All,
Not been on here for a couple of years but a bit annoyed I saw this a few weeks too late!
Any other "get togethers" around the chepstow, gloucester, newport area coming up?
We did see a load of morris's in Lydney at "taurus crafts" which is a local garden centre place a few years back, never seen it since though.
Regs,
Spence

Hi Spence. It's always best to keep an eye out on the events page as I am keen to place events whenever I can.
If your interested in taking part in a few events and not worried about doing a few miles then Our South Wales branch will be holding a BBQ possibly at the end of the month and another club run out in the Swansea area in September.
Raymond.
