Well, here we are at the start of the final day of the MMOC 40th Anniversary Charity Marathon. Over the last 30 days our trusty little Morris has visited lots of places and made lots of new friends.

We'll be meeting up with the Devon branch at Exeter and then later with Cornwall MMOC in Bodmin and Redruth before meeting all our friends and supporters at Land's End. Stay tuned folks....

Very pleased to report that at just after 4.00pm on Saturday October 1st, the Charity Marathon car rolled over the finish line to complete 3,506 mile trip without any major (or minor) mishaps.

The car has performed faultlessly throughout the whole event and although we have undertaken a small amount of preventative maintenance - such as replacing the dynamo before it failed - the run has been largely trouble free.

Can I just take this opportunity to thank everyone who was involved in the marathon in any way and congratulate you all on a job well done. Please do keep selling the raffle tickets but do make sure that all monies and counterfoils are returned to Kate Woodward, at the Derby HQ, by no later than 1st November 2016. We're not sure yet how much money has been raised but will update here as soon as we know.

Best regards

Bruce Kelsey
MMOC 40th Anniversary Charity Marathon Organiser.
