thought many people say the fitting of a new loom is very difficult it is only certain parets of the fitting that are to say the least tricky passing it through the bulk head is easy, as long as you pass the right length through i.e. the one with the bulb connectors on -oops-. However i am now in a state of some conusion rather than leave a length of wire on each terminal i totally removed them and now when i look at wireing diagrams the light switch has a red wite going to it but which one there are 3 all with spade connectors on ???? (switch connections are screw) and also i dont have an ignition switch yet as it has not yet made its-self apparant after the MOVE so how do i go about testing my wireing once installed? any help would be apprichiated thank you.[ This Message was edited by: ash on 04-03-2002 17:44 ]
Sorry about that and thanks for pointing it out willie. She is a `63 4-door oddball, in that she has the large screans but praying hands wipers, semofore mouldings(protrusions) but flashing side and tail lights plus possibly others thanks again for the notice willie and please reply
Lo, assuming I have the correct year of
wiring diagram you should find the following.
the lighting switch has three terminals
marked A, S2, and S1
the three red wires ALL go to S1.
a BROWN wire with BLUE stripe goes to A.
a BLUE wire goes to S2.
Willie
cheers willie any advise on the testing bit as my wonderful? sister who forgot to send the windows also denies the existence of an ignition. any takers on how to test it all?
