P5's are nice cars - enjoy.
I have had quite a few P6B's over the years - my favourite out of all the Rovers.

they are nice, but they rust so fast you'd think they were italian! they deteriorate so quickly once it starts going aswell, put me off them for life. shame since they look so pretty.

really. they have a major water/ mud trapbehind the front wheels, which conveniently is also the end of the chassis rail, and the first you know bout it is when you see rust under the headlights. by that time it needs a hell of alot of work. chassis rail, outriggers, innerwing, sill. gearbox mounts are prone to rust aswell. i left mine in the garage over the winter, come summer there was more rust than car. i STILL have the rust stains on the floor now. bloody thing.

devons and p5b's = love!

nearly every a60/oxford/1500 you see has rust under the headlights, by that time you can bt the inner wing needs work, so either buy a fresh worked one and keep ontop of it, or just walk away. you'll pay over £300 for a good condition steel wing. i think thats very telling as to thier common rot problems.

Yes, I saw that- I think the P5 was lovely! Was it a P5 coupe? Image

I also spotted a nice brown Traveller and enjoyed seeing the other classics and the old fashioned 1960's/ early 70's way of life brought back a few childhood memories. Fray Bentos pies, LOL!
Cheers John - all comments IMHO
