Convertible stolen, Clifton, Bristol, 09/07/07
Just had my convertible ( conversion 4 years ago) white with red roof and interior stolen from Clifton in Bristol today reg DJT 434 C. Beautiful condition but both back wings slightly scratched and boot lid 'bubbling' a tiny bit with rust around edge and bottom. Gather from the police that it was second one today. Chassis number MA2551124047, engine number 10MAU173561. Anyone heard of them being stolen to 'order' as the police think this might have been?

Your convertible DJT 434 C is not shown on the stolen vehicle hotline www.TWOC.co.uk (Taken Without Consent). Maybe a good idea to post it on there. Also see Esther's message.

I know its a while on, however always worth a check, any chance this could be it? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/morris-minor- ... 500wt_1115
It has no plates and is unregistered... No detailed photos but looks in very good nick. A friend who asked to view was also turned down for a viewing "no, not really, i'm working and will be tired when home evenings, so not able to view"

try messaging/phoning the seller and make up some cock a doodle diddley & bull story to get him to tell you the engine number... that could give it away.

yeah, was me who called him -- was really not keen on me going to look -- said he was working in london and would be tired, so inconvenient in evenings. not happy about me having a look. - 0 - if someone can get him to leave it on the driveway or something and get the address, i'll have a look if you like. i;m in oxford until fridayAlex'n'Ane wrote:I know its a while on, however always worth a check, any chance this could be it? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/morris-minor- ... 500wt_1115

It's 'genuine and certified by Morris Minor Club' - was anyone on here mad enough to buy this car ? It looks extremely suspicious....
