A beautiful black split screen convertible with red hood was parked at LIDLE's supermarket in Honiton, Devon this afternoon. It drove off just as I arrived sounding very nice. It had a 2 letter registration number but I have forgotten the numbers.

The Morris Minor AA Van spotted by gtt 1951 on 7th June won the Claude Lane Memorial Trophy for the most unusual or interesting vehicle at the Seaton Tramway Classic Car Show in Devon that weekend. Presumably when spotted the van was on the way to the show. The report of the show and a photo of the van appeared in the local weekly paper the following Wednesday.
A well deserved win.
Cheers,
Mike

Spotted this morning, at a garage near Hartley Wintney, when I was collecting my "modern" after it's MOT.
This Old English White waiting for its owner, had just passed its MOT ("it sailed through" - was the surprised comment from the garage owner who is not an MOT tester).[frame]Image[/frame]
Well Done!

Several Minors at Ufford Show in Suffolk today. Most were from the Iceni Branch of the MMOC who exhibited a Minor 1,000,000 and two pick-ups with different bodies and a variety of saloons and travellers. Also my Minor "Tapitha" was present with the Suffolk Vehicle Enthusiasts' Club display. Pity it rained most of the afternoon!
