Seized engine

I have a low milage engine that hasn't turned since 1976,when minor was only 6 years old. Kept in a dry garage. I have left diesel down spark plug holes for almost 2 months and even with a master bar on the crankshaft pulley nut it won't budge.any suggestions would help.has anyone tried Marvel mystery oil???

I've heard of people using hot oil, sounds a bit dangerous and you would need to take the head off.

Can only suggest you gently work it back and forth to try to break out the rusted parts. Otherwise it is a strip down - and then you can tackle each piston in turn - assuming that is where the problem lies, and the crank is free to turn.

You could drain the cooling system and refill it with hot water.
Also putting the car in gear and rocking it would have the effect of trying to turn it in both
directions rather than just one.

Have you tried the starter motor?
It is much more likely to break any stiction than pressure from your master bar.

You don't want to apply too much force - that's only going to shear the rings/break the piston lands. Does the crank turn ANY amount back and forth - or is it solid? I would remove the cylinder head - it 'may' just be stuck valves that are holding it back. Then you will be able to see which pistons are 'resisting'. If the crank is not turning even a few degrees, then it is a complete strip down job.
