Seriously?
Yes. O level physics! A long time ago
I am not au fait with electrics. And it doesn't seem very responsible to go wiring stuff if I don't know what I'm doing.
Thanks for offering to work out the motor's ampage.

Well - it's just a little pump, only vaguely a 'motor' - and the current draw is in short pulses of about 3 amps. So nothing too special is required by way of wire size or switch capacity.
need a little advice...i got a cheque from my insurence company for £1900....(£1500 more than i payed for it)....and as my moggie seems to be gone for good iv been looking for another.
i found this one thats just a little way from were i live...would appreciate some oppinions on weather its worth spending money on otherwise i'll keep looking!
It looks pretty good - passenger door bottom and boot lid bottom are showing some signs of distress. Use that to knock the price down to around £1200. And get some Guarantee thrown in along with that new MOT and Service. Only a survey on site will tell you what it's really like. You may want to ask them to get an AA inspection done. Be sure to lift the carpets front and rear and give the inner sills a really good squeeze with your fingers! If you can - wear old clothes - and get under the car with a good bright torch and a screwdriver for poking into suspect areas.
The blue Spridget looks nice - sure you don't prefer that to the Minor ??
Spridget = Sprite/Midget - can't tell which it is from the photo!
In winter yes to the Minor - but in summer - the call of the open top car............ And yes - you could go the convertible Minor route - but they tend to be well overpriced and not too practical in winter.
I've seen a lot better for that sort of money Best to take your time and view a few Amy. Have you tried contacting the Cornwall Morris Minor Club? They might be able to put you in touch with some local sellers.
a neigbour of tims said he thought he'd seen it in the car park of a hotel near by so we went to have a look - not expecting it to be mine but worth a look all the same - and there it was!! all dirty and leafy but not very damaged whitch is a releaf!!! and it still drives although the handbrake doesnt hold and the brakes feel horrendous. the engine sounds horrid so i shall be investing in another, the gearbox sounds fine. theres a funny crunching noise at the back of the car? not sure what that one is. whoever stole it ate all my sweets which is a bummer. the paintwork looks like someones been sitting on it, all cracked and horrid and the left hand rear wheel arch is all crunched up...even more than before.
think thats everything?
sorry to everyone who iv been bugging for details on their cars that are for sale...looks like i wont need a new one now.
and thankyou to everyone for being so supportive!!!
maby see you all at some rallys when i have my little old man all done up
But if it's THAT banged up - are you sure you don't just want to keep the insurance cheque and buy something better ? Now that you have accepted the cheque - the car belongs to the insurance co - you may be able to buy it back, but that's not necessarily always the case.
