The rest of us just have to dribble, green-eyed, from afar.......

Re: Morris minor million
We shall definitely be taking BT to events this year.. driving not on a trailer .
I believe around 10% of the millions still survive.

Re: Morris minor million
This from Andy Dwyer estimates between 50-70 of the 350 made.

Strange that the Million register doesn't know exactly.

Haven't quite run out of saliva yet.... What we need now is a whole library of photos. Every possible angle. Close-up of every special detail...

I think no one knows because over the years many were disguised long before they were collectable and because lilac isn’t to everyone’s taste. This one appears to have been painted blue in the first picture. How many more might there be, hiding under a respray and a scrapyard interior?firedrake1942 wrote:This from Andy Dwyer estimates between 50-70 of the 350 made.

Fifty years ago I used to see a Million occasionally in Ringwood, Hampshire but I’ve no idea what happened to it.

Re: Morris minor million
I agree. Nobody wanted them at one time. I bought one for £50.00 in the late 1970s because somebody I knew was selling one and nobody else wanted it. There was another locally which had been resprayed green and I'd seen it several times before I noticed the badges on it! It just looked like any other old shabby Morris MInor at the time. I wonder if either have survived......

Re: Morris minor million
Hmmm . I do not disagree, but an estimate of 50-70 is quite a wide variation. Perhaps How many are KNOWN to survive would be a better question and to which a more precise number may be attributed.
Re: Morris minor million
The million register isn't up to date, 179 isn't listed..
