Brake servo plumbing.

Just been plumbing in my brakes and servo and am just wondering how people blank off the master cylinder banjo connection.

Im running front Marina Discs and a ford RS2000 rear axle and 9inch drums.
Im using the original brake cylinder and pedal and running a servo which Ive located finally in the engine bay.

Now ive been in two minds about this. Had thought about running just the front discs with the servo but am now thinking that the servo should do the whole lot. Any comments on this???

How do people blank off the banjo connection on the back of the master cylinder, or will my pipes connect into the back of the cylinder directly (Just though of this, whoops!)

Next jobs to mount the remote filler, still undecided on the location! After that its just, mount the front seats, fit the wondows, weld in the rear coilovers and then finish off the wiring and get him running again!!

There's been a bit on here in the past whether the servo should do both front and rear or just the front so it might be best to check back and see what you feel about the answers given. My own Morris has front and back servo'd.
Regarding the banjo, I kept mine in position so it was easy to disconnect the brake pipe if required. The 'spare' hole which originally went to the rear was blanked off by a plug iirc. When screwed fully home, it obviously doesnt leak. It came with the servo kit anyway so if you havent got one, then the usual Morris parts specialists should be able to supply one.

When I fit my servo it came with a plug to screw into the banjo fitting as Collin has said.

I would try contacting whoever you bought it from and ask if it should have one with the kit.

It may be (in your very non-standard case) that the bigger rear drums will be fine with out servo help - and just the front discs get the servo assistance. Until you try it on the road to find the balance - it's anyone's guess !
