Re: Spotted today.
A beautiful very dark blue 4 door saloon was parked behind us at Bents Garden Centre near Leigh yesterday. It had an MMOC badge on the grille, so hopefully they're on here. Sadly we weren't in Gertie, they could have kept one another company .
If you are, your car looked in wonderful condition. We would have waited to say hello had time permitted.

Re: Spotted today.
Saturday 19th drove to Sheringham for the North Norfolk Railway 1940s weekend. On the way up we saw a Traveller parked in Norwich. two split screen saloons and a Traveller at the event, a saloon on the drive home on Sunday and then on the way home from work tonight, another two saloons (not in convoy). The latter two, like ours, are seen regularly, just used as daily transport. Still, 7 in 3 days can't be too bad, with at least 4 in use as oposed to just show cars.
Re: Spotted today.
I now own this vehicle. Would be great to get in contact with previous owners & build up a bit of history and background. Does anybody have Lyn's contact details?Ondergard wrote:A grey F reg saloon in Haverfordwest - FJM 525F from memory - driven by Lyn Salter, with his wife Jen and son David on board. He stopped in Morrison's car park, so I couldn't resist following him into the car park, and stopping for a chat!
He's a Club member, but he didn't say which branch! Actually, I don't think I'm in a Branch, per se, either).

Re: Spotted today.
Hello.
I saw this yesterday in central London. It looked as tho it has been parked there for some time, judging by the bits of dirt underneath it. Surprised you can leave a car for some time in central London without it being nicked/council towaway.
It was jammed full of stuff, maybe a street market traders storage van ?[frame][/frame]

Re: Spotted today. A286 Chichester area. 1st October 2015
Good to see two Minors on one trip!
While in my white traveller on the A286 West Wittering road going south out of Chichester, I passed a black Minor saloon going north at approx 10.40 am. On my return journey I passed an Almond green saloon, E reg I think, going south at around 12.30 pm. Both lady drivers got waved at!

Got beeped and waved at by the driver of a black saloon this afternoon while I was parked on St Leonard's seafront. Wondered if it was anyone on here.

Re: Spotted today.
Returned to Bertie and saw a '50's 2 dr Chevrolet Coupe 'moored' in B+Q car park Whitstable and spotted a J reg Limeflower Traveller (XKX?) leaving. Followed for 200 yds before parting company. I can't remember seeing a Minor in Limeflower since I was in flares and must admit that I used to think of it as a 70's colour unsuited to a '50's designed car. WRONG! It looked fabulous and this one was in superb condition with the colour really setting off the woodwork. Made my day (well all I was doing yesterday was removing the back boiler).

Re: Spotted today.
Spotted on the 27th, Southbound on the M42, near the M6 - a rose taupe saloon (four door I think, traffic was too rubbish to get alongside enough) reg GAV***E. Looked good and a nice surprise to see in the post Christmas blues traffic...
cheers

Yesterday evening spotted a blue four door D reg with a white front valence parked down the road from the Birmingham hippodrome.
Re: Spotted today.
A very smart 4 door Trafalgar blue F reg saloon driven by a mature lady passed me on Woodbridge Road East in Ipswich this morning.
