cork tape for grippy steering wheels

Just wrapped my steering wheel with cork handlebar tape to improve grip and make it more comfortable. Enough left over to wrap the end of the handbrake lever as well, much more comfortable in very cold weather and better grip when wearing gloves, and all for £5.50.
Need to do a larks head "knot" to finish the the parts where the spoke join the rim, and tie down the loose ends. I'll put a picture up when I remember

Blimey......I much prefer a wheel that can spin back though the fingers when self-centering - ie the standard smooth hard plastic.

took some pictures with my phone but no good, will get a proper photo tomorrow.
Needed to do this as I have a involuntary tendency to grip the wheel too hard when it is a thin or smooth one, gives me a painful hand and wrist after a while. with more grip I have a much lighter grip and am still able to let it feed through my hands to self centre.
