Chassis/Body number combinations needed.
To build an accurate picture of Minor production.
Especially needed LCV & Adderley Park Travellers.

Now collecting MM details.
Ideally I need;
Chassis No.
Body/Cab No.
Engine No.
Rear Axle No.
Gearbox No.
Date of Build/First Regn.
This info goes onto the MINOReg Database to enable me
to accurately date vehicles - especially important with
Adderley Park built Minor's.
Thanks

Anyone with a BMIHT Certificate for 1955/56 Minor?
Assisting a member with a '56 4dr where the chassis number IS present, but bears NO
correlation with its' Heritage Certificate....
Gear box quoted as 8819, the one IN the car is 6879 - key no. 25 out - axle no. WAY out!
Did Minor's get re-shelled?
So, ANY info greatly appreciated.

I have a left hand drive Morris Minor Van
VIN= 610EU496263
I was told by some one it was a late 1959 build.
I have never looked it up so it could be a different year.
It was first sold and registered in 1960.
It has the small windows in the rear doors.
The original motor was stuck when i got the van.
The smooth case trans had chipped gears and was pretty much shot.
The van had been sitting for over 20 years.
It turned out to be a bigger project then i expected.
It now has MG MIdget 1275 Semi stock motor (9-1), rib cage, disk brakes, 4:22 rear end gears.
I am running 14 x 6 custom solid rims - 185/70/14 front - 205/70/14 in the rear.
I have rebuilt all the suspension.
Replaced the gas tank with a 9.5 gallon.
Sorry the Van is not at my house at this time.
I have it at a friends shop where i work on my cars
So i can not look up Body or Chassis numbers at this time.
My van was first sold in California-USA and still lives there.
I was going to write for a Heritage certificate at some point.
But all money has been going for parts and services like machine work.
I hope this information helps you in some way.
If you figure out what year my van is let me know.

Info like gearbox, rear axle numbers - can narrow them down, but I do have gaps on late Traveller's - wrapped up AddPk Traveller's, but stumped on GB & RA number ranges.
Problems problems
there again the majority of people couldn't care less about these things....

AddPk = Adderley Pk factory, B'ham (fed up of typing it so abbreviated)
BD = Build Date/RD = Date of Registration (or DoFR)/GB = Gearbox/RA = Rear Axle/E = Engine/K = Key/NK = Neiman Key
SO many abbreviations and initials that even I get confused at times!

Alan,
That was the closest i can find in my book.
Thank you for the date.
I looked in the engine compartment.
There was nothing that looked like a CAB number.
Where is this number located? - i have the van in my garage now.
I did not see it in a past post.
Now i have easy access to work on it with out driving 60 miles one way.
I hope to make a little faster progress.
I am trying to get it on the road before the end of the year.
It was at the shop making custom adapters brackets for the E brake.
I put MG midget brakes in the back the E brake pull is higher then the stock one.

Allan,
i checked on the left front - The tag is gone.
Just for the fun of it i looked for the axle number -
It has been painted and i could not read it.
Sorry,
I tried to help,

Who's POMMRiG?
As the majority of enquiries received nowadays have nothing to do with PO vehicles, POMMReg will - after the best part of 30yrs - cease to be!
How does one go about changing ones' user name?
