SCOTT... think you are correct there, the book says that the
series two LCVs had no provision for the windscreen rubber metal
insert.

My trav. doesn't have any metal or plasticy insert...

No, the reason I showed the piccy (hope you didn't mind) is because it's unusual so I wanted the others to see an example. :D

Gosh now, isn't that odd.

I don't think I've seen minors devoid of screen strip; how...strange. Mmm. Intriguing.

it's just a trick of the photography
umm yes... thats what it is.... nothing to do with one torsion bar set on the wrong spline, and a bent chassis leg...
