catton roll call
so - who's going from here?
I'll be travelling in an almond green 66 traveller, reg HCV ***D. got a bit of a leak from the front right on my rocker cover that im going to have to fix early doors tomorrow am however - the fumes from the oil dripping onto the manifold meant I needed to replace the air filter when I returned from glasto.

Re: catton roll call
I'm hoping to travel down early tomorrow morning, from North Sheffield.

Re: catton roll call
I'll be there, also travelling from East London (but this afternoon). Unfortunately I won't be there in my traveller as he broke down yesterday afternoon - possible blown head gasket - and is currently at my local garage waiting for the head to be taken off. If you spot someone with purple hair rummaging through the autojumble it will probably be me

Re: catton roll call
Despite being born many decades ago in Burton on Trent, a few miles from Catton Hall, I unfortunately cannot be there.
I hope the weekend goes well for all attending. Just watch out for that narrow bridge!!

We'll be there but not in Vikki the Traveller as she isn't running well at the moment - keeps cutting out so don't want to chance it.

Isn't that what we used to call a "blue rinse"LouiseM wrote: If you spot someone with purple hair rummaging through the autojumble it will probably be me
Anyway, I expect there'll be LOTS of ladies with purple hair rummaging through the autojumble!
Sorry to hear about your Morris. Hope you have a good weekend.

Re: catton roll call
I decided not to attend in the end because my understanding was, you had to submit your vehicle registration. Not knowing which car to take (the Minor or my everyday vehicle) I couldn't fill the form in. Already in this post some people are leaving their Moggies at home. Have I missed out, bearing in mind I am only 12 miles from the event?

You can still turn up & pay on the gate so no need to miss out

Re: catton roll call
I'm only leaving my car at home because she's misfiring badly and we can't sort it - the engine needs stripping down otherwise she'd be there! She's only missed 2 Nationals in my 15 years of owning her. Once because I took my Convertible and the second time because of ill health. Take whichever car you want to and come along!

Fill the form out and take it on the day. Okay you pay £15 instead of £12 but it goes to a good cause (The MMOC)
As always, a great relaxing day. Felt at home watching the clowns at 11am and 3pm in the marqee....

Re: catton roll call
Just got back. My 4 year old loved the pig racing and the clowns even better, they were excellent -pitched just right for a young audience.
