Hello,
My car has a 948 with flat top pistons, other than that is totally standard, I have tried different floats and needle valves along with a new jet and needle (M) and the car runs very very rich even with the mixture adjusted all the way in (as lean as possible) and the car barely idles.
Can anyone shine a light on this? Thank you!

Check the float height. Make sure that the choke is returning properly and not holding the jet down. Check that the air filter is clean, replace if in any doubt.
