Insurance Repairs - Midlands

Post by Relfy »

...Just got round to filling in the insurance form for when i was broken into in November and have reached the bit where I need to get quotes for repairs. Anyone know who i should be going to see around here in Coventry/ West Midlands? Been told JLH are too busy, is that right?
Anyone know who else?

Thanks!!
El.

Yup! JLH comes up trumps. Thanks Jonathan!

It was really nice to look round too - and to see the pick up Andrew just bought. Hehehe. Toad's a diamond in a duck's eye (so they say down in pasty land) Goodness knows what they mean by that though.

Beezarre - I preume it's something to do wih the toadstone that's s'posed to be in a toad's eye, but the duck?
What did you think of her? Irrecoverable shed? Nice replacement chassis, she'll be fine... What do the peasants mean by that expression, BTW?

Toadstone? What's that then? Am intrigued.

I didn't look very closely, but considering you already have a few vehicles and have shown your worth in restoring them, it'll be a joy to you! (I'm not envious though ;))

Toadstone - do a google, it's an OLD superstition. Restoring - I wish that was true!

I'd guess that it's because toads, though ugly, are in fact very tasty to a duck, and so are attractive to them.
sort of "one mans meat etc..." meets " beauty is in the eye etc..."
I'm waffling now :-?

Shh! I didnt want to explain it cos then that'd sound like i was calling Andrew a duck! And then that's just digging holes and leaving room for all kinds of misunderstanding, not to mention typos!

Not exactly sure what you mean, but I meant I'd noticed the phrase 'me babber' banded about a bit on here from folks round your way although I don't think I've heard it spoken! :-? :o

I don't say 'me babber'! I do say "where's it to" though, which is awful, but then I also say "'ello petal", so really my accent is all broken.
