Lock Barrels

Hi all, a quick question for you all. Are the lock barrels for the front doors, the type in the handle not in the door different from the lock barrels on the rear door handle on a traveler. Told you it was a quick one.

I understand the question, but it sounds as though your are referring to the door handles on a four door car, which would never have been fitted to Travellers. Sorry I don't know the answer to your query, just providing a pointer for others to follow, and hopefully answer.

Are you refering to the lock numbers or the designs?
The car should have one key to fit all the locks and as far as I am aware the Traveller and van have a different key for the back doors

Yes the Traveller rear door lock is different to the door/ignition lock so 2 different keys required (3 in my case as I have a locking passenger door as well)

Thank you all, so for the confusion, the reason for asking is i don't have a key or key No for the rear doors so i can't lock them, but i have a new barrel and key which is for the front door just wondered if it could fit that was all. I've bitten the bullet and bought a full new handle assembaly.

sorry as you have purchased a new lock it is too late for you but if someone else reads this post..

it is possible to change the "pins" ( the bits that move up and down as you push in the key ) from one lock barrel to another so provided your barrels are the same diameter and have the same number of pins you can swap over the pins from one barrel to another and get a different key to fit.
