Thanks,
Where can I get a workshop manual?
Any ideas on how long it should take to do?

Re: Pedals rocking ?
Sorry for bringing this thread up again but I found it by doing a search. I think I will need to do mine as my clutch is slipping (adjustment I hope) and whilst fixing it I thought I'd better change these bearings. My pedals move far too much for my liking. Does anyone have any pictures so I can ass...

Re: Novice on the loose
Could you post some pictures of the wire you have in the rough place where you think they should be connected?

Re: LED Flashers
Just ordered the no load relay. I'm thinking of using it to power a normal relay so I can stay positive earth but not add to much load on the new no load relay.
I can only try.

Re: LED Flashers
sound like I need one.
I can never get mine to flash at the correct speed dispite a new harness, bulb holder and switch.
Do I need LED bulbs? I ask because mine is positive earth which is ok for the relay, but I'm not sure about the LED's

Re: Dynamo
Well I confused more, but still pleased. Engine off 12.4v Idle - 12.2v Fast Idle - 13.6v SO I increased the idle spped to get 12.6v and the red light went out. Went for a little drive and after about 1mile the light started to come back on. I was doing 40mph in 4th with little throttle. Went back ho...

Re: Dynamo
Sorry, I got it the wrong way round. The contact in the regulator is made but doesn't open at idle (I think it should - correct me). The dim light can come on at any engine speed and doesn't seam to be speed, revs, load and throttle position related. Upping the idle speed made no difference. yes- dy...

Re: Dynamo
Sorry for taking so long to get back with the measured voltages, I've not used the car over the winter but she did start first time today and ran beautifuly. Except my charging light is still on - just. Battery voltage = Measure with engine off but still connected - 12.4v Measure with engine at idle...

Clutch adjustment - Any?
Hi All When going up steep hill my cluch starts slipping (I think). There is plooms of smoke out the back and it smells like a burning clutch. When driving along the flat, everything seams ok. But as soon as I put my foot on the cluch pedal it disengages. Could it be my cluch is always slipping and ...

The problem is not solved :( I took the car to the Goodwood breakfast club and afterwards for a quick drive. The charging red light kept coming on just, ie a bit faint. The battery voltage may be a little low from not using the car for 4 weeks but it was fine starting. Could this be an influence? To...

Guessing considering your location you work somewhere in the vicinity of Goodwood? Well er ... Yes. I work at the RollsRoyce factory in Goodwood. You don't think I could afford one. Even the house in the background isn't mine. Driving one is quite an experience. Even though I see them everyd...

Is a Traveller a large car.
Simple answer is no., Not when compared to a Phantom I borrowed from work a few weeks back. http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr137/littleblackflash/DSC01679.jpg http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr137/littleblackflash/DSC01681.jpg http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr137/littleblackflash/DSC01682...

Well done Nigel - Problem solved. I used a fly lead direct from the battery to the small terminal and the large terminal gave 11.5v upto 13.5v when reved. I then took the cover off the new regulator and the little arm on the right was not moving. After a little prod, she clicked down and the charge ...
