ford ka front seats

Hello all, I have just purchased a pair of ford ka sport leather front seats for my morris minor, I think these will look great in the car. Just wondering if anyone has experience of fitting these, is it better to make up some fixings or can a decent fitment be achieved with the standard ford runner...

Re: BWX 560H Trafalgar Blue 2 Door Saloon

There’s always hope, my car which belonged to my grandad and then my dad many years ago is in my garage now, I found it 20 years after it was sold in the early 80s in 2000, It’s tax ran out 1987 and last official keeper change was in 1981 so on paper it looked long gone, but it’s still with us! Anyt...

Re: BWX 560H Trafalgar Blue 2 Door Saloon

Hello there, Morris Minor 1000 registration number BWX560H is showing 5 previous keepers, last keeper changes as follows:

02-11-1991

31-01-2001

So it has been a while but there has definitely been activity with the vehicle since the early 90s.

Been a while since been on here, my car is pretty solid but decided that if I'm going to it may as well do it properly, here is the recent panel purchase!

Re: Derby registrations in 1960's

I remember posting about derby CH plates a while back, my car is a VCH***G morris minor, registered 6/12/1968, heritage motor centre records show as despatched to kennings derby, the original buff log book copy I have from dvla shows the cars first owner was dealer Derbyshire motors, derwent street,...

Spotted this car running around in burton on trent yesterday, looked really good! I searched on here by the reg to have a look because I couldn't make my mind up if it's in the turquoise or another type of blue? Nice car!

I have had 3 1098cc engines and have various parts knocking about, one of the three rocker covers has a breather elbow the others do not, I have one block with no crankcase breather, one with a breather pipe and a later one with the c...

Re: V5 logbooks don't show full number of previous owners

Sometimes dealers did go down as 1st owner if vehicles were demos or pre reg if you like which is very common today in the motor trade, my car did have a private owner on the paper log book which is not counted on the new v5, it isn't really important when buying cars as old as moggie minors it just...

V5 logbooks don't show full number of previous owners

I always find it interesting when you see morris minors for sale saying only 2 or 3 previous owners, the sellers are doing nothing wrong because it's what the v5 log book says but it's interesting to note the following. I sent for all the previous owner history of my car which was once owned by my g...

Front Seat types? Adjustable/reclining etc

Re: Where is the number 90 BPH now?

Hello there, it is most likely on retention or in process of transfer, when the plates go on retention the vehicle/reg will not appear on the dvla tax web site but other vehicle records may still have the last vehicle to carry the plate still attached leaving it in limbo if you like. My friends work...
