Re: Minor with CAT fitted

:D I love seeing your adorable cats - let's have some more to, as you say, provide some light relief from the current gloominess. (And I would love to meet your beautiful Sandy at the National Mike!!!)

Re: E scooters

As my husband is partially sighted these e-scooters are quite a menace for him. There are already plenty of hazards for him to try and avoid - e.g. as a commuter in normal times the pull along cases are a nightmare as he cannot see them and so is often bashed into or trips over them. I'm sure they a...

Re: Car Holding Deposit Scam

Thank you for making us aware of this likely scam. :-? It would seem to be a very helpful offer at first glance but as you say there may be no actual car for sale and certainly no way of telling how many other 'deposits' have been collected and may never be seen again :( .

 Les - your poster is very effective!

:D Thanks Berni - those downloads are very useful. Currently have my twin 'self-isolating' at ours, though thankfully she only seems to have seasonal germs and it is the last day of isolation today.

Re: Van back seats?

Well I am not entirely sure how it worked but we had a series II van which had side windows and rear seats added - very comfy bench type. We were children at the time but I believe there was room for feet and it was not too restricted for headroom but not sure how! Sorry told you not very helpful bu...

'MMOC Member' not showing

I have just noticed that there is an 'MMOC Member' part to the poster's sign in details box at the side of postings. Well I have been a fully paid up member for many years but mine shows: Joined: Thu Feb 25, 2010 8:00 pm MMOC Member: No Contact: Contact Plin I cannot see how I can alter this so is t...

Re: Obsessed? Moi ???

  Thanks for the advice about how to make the watch fit!! I know it says it fits between a 6 1/2 - 8 inch wrist but it would look enormous on my wrist (which is just under 6 inches). Now if they shrank it to a ladies size...!

Sorry we can't make it :( so we went out there today for a run in our van as it is a lovely drive and location to stop and have a cuppa. Hope it is well attended and you have a great day. (p.s. thanks firedrake - will look out for that OEW Pick-up when charging about trying to sort out things for my...

I am sure this will be a great event - as you say Saffron Walden is a beautiful old town with plenty of charm. Hope it is well attended, if our van doesn't need MOT repairs we may well pop over. (Have been in Saffron Walden today sorting out the funeral for my car mad uncle who lived in nearby Steep...

I feel for you in your loss. It doesn't matter how old our loved ones are it is always hard to have to say cheerio. I am sure your Mum appreciated that you took the time to take her out in your lovely cars and what Mum doesn't want to be their child's biggest fan and supporter! I am sure your 'crazy...

:-? could have been nasty - well spotted. Hope your car passes it's MOT without further problems. sigh...... Yes it is a shame we are made aware of problems but cannot be stopped from purchasing the same iffy parts as we are not allowed to know who supplied them. But we have to abide by the rules to...
