Re: What do you want me to tell you?

Spread the word and get recruiting :D :D :tu1: :D Excellent - we have alr...

Re: LCV Register

:-( As Les says - thanks Chris for your info.

It is a shame there was no mention of it not being available again. Not even letting us know it is going to cease but just disappearing is disappointing as there were members who were still using it.

Re: LCV Register

:-( I was just trying to get onto the forum again and like you found an error 404 message but if went to the 'Go to site home' link on the error page it takes you to the LCV Register site (dated 2023), there is no link or mention of the forum just links to Facebook and Twitter (though these are both...

Re: LCV Register

:-( It still seems to be unavailable. I know we have had this issue on and off before so hopefully it will just reappear but sadly seems the LCV Forum does seem to be a very sad relation these days to the LCV Facebook presence.

Sorry to hear of your diagnosis. Reminds us to get out and enjoy the world. Hope you have plenty more adventures and memory making trips in your Traveller before you feel the need to stop driving.

Re: Any Volvo 240 owners here?

We have had the big brother Vovlo 740 Estate (a 1980 model) since about 1998. I love it and it is very frequently used but it is indeed a gas guzzler so we don't use it every day but for comfort we always use it for long distance travelling. Parts have not been a great problem and it is not that cos...

Re: LCV

I kept checking and noticed it was up and running again so and made a quick post (19 July about 8pm). I did ask why it was down but of course no reply but not sure who is really monitoring it as 'Admin' shows one of the chaps as last being on there 'Tue May 03, 2022 5:51 pm' and the other one last v...

I have also been trying to access it for a couple of days - nothing being said on the LCV Register Facebook page? Oh dear maybe despite your great efforts to keep it alive the masters have decided it is time to let it slip away but I hope not :(

Thank you for posting the article. Always thought that electric cars may not be such a good idea in an emergency but even well planned journeys seem to be tricky! I will keep my lovely petrol motors for as long as possible!! Long live our beautiful Morris minors!!
