Thanks for the guidance, I didn't see the modified ones in ESMs catalogue, so thanks for putting up that link.

Front wing for Series II
Hi, looks like I need to buy a new drivers side front wing for my series II. I'm in New Zealand, and can't seem to find anything locally that isn't full of rust in the usual places, so am looking to import a new wing from the UK. Does anyone on this forum have any advice on where to get a Series II ...

Re: Series II 4 door in New Zealand
More work on drivers side wing, some sections cut out of a "not as rusty" later model wing and welded in.[frame] http://mmoc.org.uk/mbimage.php?src=1468530851_11908 [/frame][frame] http://mmoc.org.uk/mbimage.php?src=1468530918_11908 [/frame][frame] http://mmoc.org.uk/mbimage.php?src=146853...

Re: Series II 4 door in New Zealand
Thanks for your help, i'll contact the BMH archives service. I did feel some twinges of guilt at cutting into a reasonably early body shell, but then if I hadn't rescued it out of the paddock it had been loitering in for ten years plus, I suspect it would have been crushed by now.

Re: Series II in New Zealand identification
thanks for your help. The other number on the NMP plate is hard to distinguish but looks like R18283. The glass markings were easier to find once you'd told me what to look for....the rear and front screens and one of the windows were dated 1st quarter of 52, and three others dated 2nd quarter of 51...

Re: Series II in New Zealand identification

Series II in New Zealand identification
Hi, hoping this is in the right forum, I'm restoring/modifying a series II 4 dr saloon in New Zealand, and am trying to work out it's age. I have the NMP pressed plate number which is Z.12238/9 (the 3 is possibly a 5), and the number on the small tag high up on the passenger side of the bulkhead is ...

On reflection plan B could be to use MGF wheels which will fit on the marina hubs at the front and alter the pcd of the rear.

Marina hubs ford wheels
Hi, am doing up a 54 4dr, been inspired by all the projects on the MMOC pages and am slowly working away at all the rust and when back up to strength am going to be putting in a 1600 xflow to a ford escort axle. At the front end i'm planning on putting on Marina hubs and discs with the pcd altered t...
