i,ve got them down but i don't think they are going down as far as they should, i am going to have to live with it, to be honest i am having grief with the clutch anyway and until thats right i cant really suss the mounts out.

Hi David, just to let you know i did use the por 15 system you recomended, fairly straight forward and effective it would appear, from what i can see of the inside of the tank it looks effective, just waiting for the car to come back from the painters, then the rebuild begins, but thats another job ...

hi all, does anyone know where i could get a fuel tank dipped/cleaned i appreciate that it may have more holes than a teabag after, but there is loads of rust in it, and it kept blocking the fuel filter on my previous car (thus konking out!), or a very good diy solution, i need to get it sorted for ...

i done all the work its taken me about 1 year, i had a painter put the top coat of paint on for me, i work in the trade and its in my workshop and do it as and when i have time, including long nights and saturdays.

you get 4 cans of paint, i painted the rear seat, one front seat, one front seat back, both door cards and the pull straps, i have approx half a can left over, i gave everything approx 4-5 coats, but obviously ration the paint accordingly, i wasn't sure if i would have enough so i did all the seats ...

you can tell it will last, just by touching it, it is strange how it works but was £111 well spent when you look at the bigger picture, how much for new seat covers, door cards etc? it is a no brainer really and the amount i have spent on the car so far it would have been a bit silly cutting corners...

will get some nice ones soon, its just about finished.[frame][/frame]
