Re: Rear bumper straightening
Hello bmcecosse Sorry for not replying earlier. We have had the rear valance and chrome blade straightened by somebody I by chance bumped into (no pun intended). They made a great job of them. I will get some pictures for you. I am trying to get hold of a spring bar as our car never had one fitted, ...

Re: Rear bumper straightening
The mountings are all fine, we were quite lucky really. I didn't realise that there was no spring bar fitted. I think if there was that would have potentially caused more damage or may have made for a smaller dent in the vallance. I have tried a couple of local engineering firms but they do not have...

Rear bumper straightening
Good afternoon all, somebody has decided to drive into the back of our Minor 1000 and dented / bent the rear bumper fortunately only damaging the bumper (it stopped short of damaging the boot area). Any ideas on where we could get this straightened in the Reading, Basingstoke, Southampton area? We w...

For all who could not make it, if the chance does arise again to go you've got to try and make it. What a place, what a man.

Re: Grease nipples
How do you snap off a grease nipple? Take a grease nipple off somewhere else, grease the top trunnion then replace it. Hello Mike I was probably using the wrong sized grease gun (if that's possible) but the nipple part of the grease point ended up in the end of the gun. As for taking a nipple from ...

Re: Dove Grey
Mine's Dove Grey according to Millennium Motors who sold her, but resprayed at some point in its life...although just how many Minors out there still sport their original finish? The door inners and bumpers seem to be a darker shade of grey. [frame] http://mmoc.org.uk/mbimage.php?src=1304935700_120...

Re: Dove Grey
Thank you to those of you who have replied. As Louise mentioned I will post a picture of our car which is more of a Fawn colour. The pictures posted show how I thought our car should look as the dash rail and under door rubbers etc...... is definately a different colour than what is on the extrernal...

Please can anyone who has a genuine Dove Grey Minor post a couple of pictures for us to have a look at. We are members of t...

Please can anyone advise where we may be able to source some mirrors. Thank you in advance for looking...

Re: No brakes!!!!!!
Thank you for the replies on the jacking points. Try as I might the drum on the front offside is really tight, even with the shoes adjusted right back. I have bled the brakes gone on a trial run and the car stops brilliantly. No pulling to one side nothing. But there is a smell from the front offsid...
