Re: Authenticity of Vehicles

Some 1970s pickups fitted with van chassis plates from the factory, think the correct axle weights & the GVW was more important.

Well, Russ' continuing "digs" at such a stressful time isn't helping things.

Apols to those I offended for my Nissan Micra moment.

I've found a 1971 austin van in a front garden around the corner from me. It's been sat a while but looks in good condition.

If anyone fancies there chances in finding out if its for sale I could let you know.

Re: Adderley Park Number details needed

Non LCV varient fairly easy, but LCVs VERY difficult as half my time spent requesting details from owners.
Tbh, don't learn anything from a chassis number, reason why all other Minor club's STILL plod along with 30yr old info which was wrong EVEN as much as 60yrs ago!

Re: Stolen YMC 254 1952 Convertible Clarendon Gray

Bit late now, but how about stamping a password/postcode/name into a hidden area(?).
If a vehicle looks a bit dodgy, some form of database will reveal whether it's stolen & the original owners' details.

Just a suggestion.

Let someone else take up the reigns, hopefully they'll receive more encouragment?
