I Had a slight weep from the bottom hose connection on the radiator. Tried instant gasket without success, wrapped a piece of bicycle tube around the pipe and refitted the bottom hose. The split brass adjustment blocks are not symmetrical, this might be the problem. Have you tried turning them around, see link below which had the same problem. Strange how it did function properly on the other car, they were both 1098cc engines.
Changed the bearing for ther correct 1098 one and the problem was solved.
