Re: Insurance outside garage
I was told by Footman James that as I have the car garaged, it needs to be in it! If I leave it on the drive, or outside the house for any reason it will not be insured, unless I tell them prior to doing this, so phone them up and tell them it is no longer garaged and you will be covered, but you wi...

Try the Farecla range, G5 is good, on a polishing mop, but they do different grades, you should be able to get the colour back with this and then finish of with Auto Glym resin polish afterwards, or National Car polish, which is even better!

The car, with skis, had a lovely journey back to Portland, following an early series 2 traveller to past New...

I do know that commercials were much later, definitely 1970s, but I do see a later white traveller there!

I like Empire green, but it was discontinued in 1956! I am biased as it is the colour of mine, but looks very good with the ash!

Oh dear! Let's hope the Morris register responds better to your views, funny really, I have been a member since 1985 and have made many good friends, even when I went to the national 3 years ago, and didn't know anyone, the Northern Ireland branch and the Yorkshire branch looked after me! I wish you...

Well I had a great time! As for Audrey1955, I am not surprised at what she had to say, reading the harsh and rude comments before the event, which were later removed, her latest comments are to be expected. Well done to all the unpaid volunteers who gave up so much of their time, and thank you again...

I also heard that the club spares stand had some expensive items stolen too!
A bit of a worry, as I often leave my car un-locked at events, perhaps we all need to be more aware, what a shame!

Why not get it re-chromed? Mine was like yours, so I sent it to a decent chromer and it looks great now! Nice having the original enamel bits, if yours is really bad then try to get a slightly better one and get that done. All the chrome I have had re-done is so much better and has lasted so much lo...

It is so much sweeter and runs and sounds so much better!
It is a bit slower up hills, but that is all, and I am still running it in!

Re: Where to buy Traveller timber
I would go to Steve Foreman, a brilliant chap, his woodwork is excellent and he can supply lots of information on how to fit it all too, as well as different wood treatments. He has been doing it for years too, the first ash sections I bought off him was in 1987, and 25 years on they are as good as ...
