Worth watching, Janette is so positive about her difficult childhood, the van is lovely too with the small rear windows!

Re: Split Screen Traveller - new acquisition.
Well how exciting for you! As you can see I have a very similar one to you mine is Feb 1956. Series 2 travellers had a rubber mat which covered the floor in one section, I have the remains of mine, but it is in poor condition. The deluxe models had carpeted bits over the inner wing at the front! Ext...

Re: Bursting at the seams :-(
Mine had split on the joins in the seat, the twine stiching it together rots, but the leather is ok, this is what I did, Remove the rear seat, you can then take it apart by undoing the fixings and clips underneath, and a few tacks too! Then buy some saddle soap, I got mine from Scats, it is the plas...

Re: My brother was stationary in traffic when
Having had someone drive into the back of me, my advice would be to try and get a witness, too late for your brother I know, I was lucky as a chap opposite came over and gave me his details, The young driver who drove into me, admitted it at the scene, then changed his story, as I had a witness it m...

Re: Fitting glove box lid to series II?
I have seen it done, I am sure the early 1000 had them for a few years, they should fit with self tapping screws! I was going to do this years ago and had a pair that fitted in the gaps, but I didn't get round to it!
