Re: Getting desperate!
Hi there! I run the Series 2 Traveller register, and sadly I haven't any details on KBX 475 Bryan handed the register on to me and all records from the early 1980s onward are on there now. Al least if it is sorn on a regular basis, then it must still exist. Good luck in finding KBX, but I am afraid ...

Re: Our 1st Moggy. 1956 Split Screen. WSL 230
Betty looks like a lovely car and has found a good home with you! I am sure you will have lots of fun with her, may be worth trying to find out what the original registration was? It may have been sold off in the 1980s, or lost when the car was put back on the road in the 80s, good luck and best wis...

Re: Leather cleaner
Saddle soap is brilliant! It is amazing how much grime comes off! As you said it also makes the leather soft again. When it is really dry apply "Conolly's Hide Food" that feeds the leather, it is good stuff too

If it is sad having a period tax disc, then it is just as sad to have the matching car! I am sad constantly!

Re: tax disc holder position
Top tip for the suction tax disc holders, do not moisten, use tyre black, as it doesn't dry out! I use my grandmother's which was in her Morris 8 series E, then her series 2, then her Minor 1000, then her Morris 1100, but it wouldn't stick in her Morris 1300 as the windscreen was too curved, so in 1...

Bought MBO145 in June 1985, so 29 years ago, think he was about £400 as the engine was in the boot!
Sold in 1992 for £2000 then bought back for £2000 in 2000!

Re: bargain insurance quote
Just make sure you have an "Agreed Value" on paper, as an assessor after an accident may not put a very high price on your car! If your Minor actually is a just run around, without much sentimental or financial worth, then these deals are brilliant! Thankfully mine had an agreed value when...

Re: Help wanted finding details of splitscreen traveller
Hi Ben, since contacting you a while back, I am now hold the register for the series 2 travellers, did you have any luck finding out the chassis number, should be on a plate to the left of the battery stamped something like FLE11/ 365677. If you can find this I will see if it is on the register! Wou...
