I have looked at the chevy wheels and your right they do have the same pcd but the stud size is a lot wider on the jag,so unless I can physically try them on I dont want to order them only to find I can't get the wheel nuts to fit.

Update so far. The body is almost ready to be put onto the modified chassis, I just have to replace the nearside sill with the new box section the jag diff is a 3.54 powerlock, I'm having real problems trying to get hold of some period slot mags it seems there are none to be found,so I will have to ...

I will take note of engine mounting, but it will have to be a compromise as I want to retain a 2+2, I will be using xjs suspension with 4 pot calipersand vented discs, the rims will be the same size all round, I want it to go round corners and maybe trackdays, perhaps I want to much!!

The suspension arrives tomorrow, and once I have the wheels I can then work out the amount I will have to shorten it, the list of jobs is growing by the minute, I want to see if I can use power steering so I shall look at all modern hatchtbacks to find a suitable one, if not then I know a ford escor...
