Re: Which seats to choose
If you want seats that are really easy to fit go for the Ford Ka ones. I've recently fitted a pair in my traveller and they go in with no welding or messing about at all. You just need to turn the feet around on the front and then you can use the original seat fixing bolts for the front and drill a ...

Re: Ford KA seat purchase options
I've just fitted a pair of black leather Ka seats into my '69 Traveller. It really is quite easy - you only need to adjust the front legs and drill a couple of holes for the rear legs.
They fit a treat and don't look out of place at all.

Re: Morris Minor Million for Sale eBay
I've nothing against the colour but definitely got something against the price!! Looks more like £4 - £5k at the most to me. I wouldn't mind owning a Million just for the rarity value!

Of course there's an oil leak - it's a Morris! These leaks were put in at the factory as a rust preventative measure!

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, no matter what I do or whatever username or password I enter I am unable to open the link. Not to worry though I'll see if any of my friends can access it.

Fitting Ford KA seats
I've just bought a nice set of leather Ford KA seats that I want to fit in my Traveller. I know it's supposed to be a fairly straight forward thing to do but has anyone else done it? If so any chance of any pictures of the fitted seats and close ups of the fittings?
Cheers

Re: Traveller pickup conversion
Normally I would say it's your car and do what you like with it - but not this time I'm afraid! :-? This is such a rare vehicle it really needs to be restored back to its original condition. Have you been in touch with Phil Traves - the Series II Traveller registrar. I'm sure he would like to have t...

Re: 2017 NATIONAL RALLY
It would be only fair to hold the rally in the south. The last couple have been in Yorkshire and in Derby - both a very long trip if you live in the south. As Iain said - its very hard when you've got children at school especially as it's always during term time. This has meant we have been unable t...

Re: Advice on pre sale Morris Minor check
Sorry I have resisted commenting on this thread but I now have to say something as I just can't stand all the bu**sh*t any longer! This is a very good car that I only sold last year. We rebuilt the engine only in 2014 and it also has a new unleaded head and has had everything done to it. As for the ...

Re: Poor quality brake shoes?
Just fitted mintex car stops now I am now looking for old stock shoes with rivets I'm probably stating the obvious here, but bear in mind that if you find and fit NOS shoes, you'll likely be dealing with asbestos dust the next time you are working on the brakes. You really are talking an extremely ...

Re: Poor quality brake shoes?
I'm afraid this is the problem with bonded brake shoes. I had the same thing happen a few years ago to the brake shoes on the Lowlight which I owned at the time. I'm always on the look out for NOS rivetted shoes when I visit autojumbles or even just linings so that we can re-line the old shoes. I on...
