contact breaker gap setting
hi guys i have a morris minor 1000 and was adjusting the timing and the points for some unknown reason have closed i have looked in the book and its saying between 36mm - 40mm im used to setting the old stuff at 25mm, so im just asking this to make sure of the setting of these points and if it matte...

if its as bad as declans, i found out if you heat it cherry red it will bend out bit by bit done a few wheel bearings like this cause the clip was rusted in, but thats only provided if you have gas bottles.

i small ish plain screwdriver and an l shaped pick
get behind the broken clip with the pick pull it out just enough to get the driver in then ping it out, im sure the new uj will come with new cir clips

are you sure heat is the thing to use will that not damage the crank oil seal on the front. i would use an air gun on it to be honest and it depends on what air gun you use cheap ones wont even look at it. ingersol rand or snap on will probably do the job good luck. i had a hyundia coupe crank bolt ...

no its jammed in quit tight it has a metal ring around it and it was fairly tight coming out and going in but i will get srews to be safer

i changed cable today and the waving needle is gone aaaah bliss i can now speed with ease (well eventually once it gets up there )

well took the interior panel of today at the trafficator there appears to be duck tape holding the plate on to the bady ond it has been painted the same colour as the car on the outside i can see one bare wire going to a screw that is tight on the screw but nothing else so it looks like i need every...

hi guys i have a morris 1000 1961 it appears that when im driving along the rd no matter what speed im doing the speado needle on the dash is all over the place cant really tell what speed im doing is there a fix for this.
